Fruit Smoothie 2 (with milk)

  • Use fresh, frozen, or canned fruit.
  • Fresh fruit ideas: banana, mango, papaya or strawberry.

Ingredients

3 cups nonfat or 1% milk
3 cups fruit, sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine milk and fruit in a blender and put lid on tightly.
  2. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
  3. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.

So easy!  We used wild blackberries we picked this past summer.  Having them frozen for sure added thickness to the smoothie.  The berries even frozen were not really sweet, so we did end up adding the smallest tad of sweetner.  Then my 2 year old loved it!
